The verses for this song were composed in 1996. In the past two decades, I have written several different choruses in an attempt to come up with something that was not only original but also appropriate for the song. It wasn't until 2017, however, that I came up with something that I really liked. The basics for this particular rendition were tracked at Sacred Heart Studio in Duluth, MN with Christopher McGuire, Alan Sparhawk, and Jake Larson.
